Judge Decides Election Fraud Is A Constitutional Right

Three weeks before municipal elections will be held statewide, a federal judge has suspended Georgia's new voter ID requirement after finding the law imposes an unconstitutional poll tax and will not effectively combat voter fraud.

"The U.S. Justice Department reviewed and approved this law, saying it complied with the Voting Rights Act of 1965," House Speaker Glenn Richardson (R-Hiram) said. "Despite this review and approval, a Jimmy Carter-appointed judge has now ignored that decision, thwarting the best interests of the people of this state."

Legislators who voted for the measure said the ID requirement is needed to regulate voting and prevent voter impersonation fraud. They said the law allows anyone who cannot afford a voter ID card to sign an affidavit declaring they are indigent, allowing them to get the cards for free. A five-year state-issued voter ID card costs $20; a 10-year cards costs $35.

Huh, so the ID card is free but this ass claims it's a poll tax.
To quote Neil Boortz:
Look. This is all very simple. Why did Democrats oppose the law in the first place? Because Democrats want people who are not legally entitled to cast votes to go to the polls on election day. Democrats know full well that illegal aliens, felons, non-citizens and others not qualified to vote are far more likely to vote for Democrats than for Republicans. In several states there are proposals to allow non-citizens, and in some cases illegal aliens, to vote in local elections, and in every case those proposals are being put forward by Democrats. Democrats believe that their political survival might well depend on their ability to generate illegal votes on election day. They have a huge ally in Judge Harold Murphy.

Dog Registers To Vote In New Zealand

It was almost inevitable New Zealand's election would turn into a dog fight when you look at one of the country's 2.83 million voters Toby the Jack Russell terrier.
Toby became a registered voter when his owner, Peter Rhodes of Queenstown, completed an enrollment form in the dog's name, giving his occupation as "rodent exterminator" and his age as 28.

Oh great. You just gave the Democrats an idea for a new source of voters.

I Guess Democrats Are The Same In Every Country

Germany's Schroeder Refuses To Concede

Gerhard Schroeder, written off as a lame duck a few weeks ago, finished stronger than expected and refused to concede defeat, saying he could still theoretically remain in power if talks with other parties were successful.

But Merkel claimed her party received a mandate from voters to form a new coalition government to carry out her plan to mend frayed ties with the United States. "What is important now is to form a stable government for the people in Germany, and we ... quite clearly have the mandate to do that," she said.

Both Schroeder and Merkel said they would talk to all parties except the new Left Party, a combination of ex-communists and renegade Social Democrats.

Well, at least they have the good sense to ignore the fringe left, unlike here where they're elevated to the status of demi-gods by our press.

Fla. County Urged To Ditch Voting Machines

I see. The results of the elections were still not to your liking so of course it had to be the voting machines that were at fault. It couldn't possibly be that the voters actually voted the way they did.
Huh. I've looked at several sites and cannot find which party Mr. Lester Sola belongs to. Coincidence ? Even the official Miami-Dade Government Site does not disclose his affiliation. Huh.

I've now gone through around fifty pages trying to ascertain his party affiliation. Nothing. I wonder why that would be ?

I sent off the following e-mail to see if I could find out:
I was wondering sir, I've been trying for an hour to ascertain your party affiliation with no success. I've visited hundreds of web sites and have as yet found no mention as to what party you belong to, if any. Would you care to disclose it ? Thank you in advance.

Clinton & Kerry Want Felons To Vote

The Demoncratic Party: Felon Friendly !
Four out of five Felons we surveyed would vote for us !
I guess it's only natural that the Demoncrats would court criminals.

Republican efforts have centered on reducing voter fraud, while Democrats have called for making access to the ballot box easier and simpler.

Or to put it another way, the Demoncrats do not want to reduce fraud and want to make it easier and simpler for people to vote as often as they want, even if they're criminals.

Talk about selective and biased reporting, Reuters didn't bother to report the little fact that wanting Felons to vote was part of their pitch ! Good thing I don't count on Reuters for getting the full story !

Let's face it, they're losing the Black and Latino votes in droves... who else would be crazy enough to vote for them ? [Ding Ding Ding !] Criminals !

Vote for us ! We just love Felons ! What a great slogan !

Follow up: Fox was the only other news organization I could find that even mentioned this scrap of information.

Ohio Recount Ends (for now)

But the completion of the recount will not bring an end to questions surrounding the vote in Ohio. A group of voters citing fraud have challenged the election results with the Ohio Supreme Court. The voters, supported by the Rev. Jesse Jackson, have cited irregularities including long lines, a shortage of voting machines in minority precincts and problems with computer equipment.

Face it Moonbats, at least this time it doesn't matter how many times you count the votes, Bush won.

Washington Governor's Race May Not Be Over

DemocRats now say the race is over because they kept recounting until they got results they liked. DemocRats only have to win once. Republicans have to win many, many, many times; and then they still haven't really won according to liberal logic.

Interesting Tidbit On The Washington State Governor's Race

Found on Cold Hearted Truth. More there entitled "Machines don't cheat... People do."

Dems Claim Win in Wash. Governor's Race

Democrats have claimed victory in the race for Washington governor by a razor-thin margin of eight votes, citing preliminary results of a hand recount they say puts Christine Gregoire in front for the first time.

So let's see:
  • Republican Dino Rossi won the first count by 261 votes.
  • He won a machine recount by 42 votes.
  • Still refusing to concede, DemocRat Christine Gregoire demanded a hand recount of 2.9 million votes. Now the DemocRats are claiming victory on 8 votes.
This is the Al Gore legacy, keep counting the votes until you get the result you want. Now it's all down to what ever decision the State Supreme Court makes.

Judge Blocks Washington State Ballot Count

So much for the DemocRat's attempt at cheating.
