Edwards Admits Sexual Affair; Lied as Presidential Candidate

John Edwards repeatedly lied during his Presidential campaign about an extramarital affair with a novice filmmaker, the former Senator admitted to ABC News today.

In an interview for broadcast tonight on Nightline, Edwards told ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff he did have an affair with 44-year old Rielle Hunter, but said that he loved only his wife, Elizabeth.

"Two years ago I made a very serious mistake," Edwards said, blaming the prominence of being a vice presidential candidate. "All of which fed a self-focus, an egotism, a narcissism that leads you to believe that you can do whatever you want," he said.

Edwards has always been egotistic and a narcissist.
Just as he has always been a fraud, liar, cheat, hypocrite, etc.

He's also an idiot.
How could he run for President and not know this would come out ?

Now we just have to wait for whatever Obama has hidden to come out.

Debunking Global Warming Myths

The British documentary The Great Global Warming Swindle is, well ... great.

The same broadcaster -- Channel 4 in the U.K. -- that recently exposed the extremist ideology being preached in Britain's supposedly "moderate" mosques has now similarly helped to tear away the veil of lies and religious zeal surrounding the global warming industry.

Expert after expert in this film blasts craters into the theory that CO2 -- which only makes up 0.054% of the earth's atmosphere -- has ever driven climate. Ice core records, in fact, prove the opposite, that CO2 lags warming by as much as 800 years.

The main cause of warming is, not surprisingly, the sun.

"The analogy I use," says Dr. Tim Ball, a former climatology professor at the University of Winnipeg, "is my car's not running very well, so I'm going to ignore the engine, which is the sun, and I'm going to ignore the transmission, which is the water vapour and I'm going to look at one nut on the right rear wheel which is the human produced CO2. The science is that bad."

Or the fact that in the '70s liberals were issuing similarly dire warnings about "global cooling."

Simply consider what noted climatologists Al Gore and Melissa Etheridge are demanding that we do to combat their nutty conjectures about "global warming."
They want us to starve the productive sector of fossil fuel and allow the world's factories to grind to a halt. This means an end to material growth and a cataclysmic reduction in wealth.

There are more reputable scientists defending astrology than defending "global Warming," but liberals simply announce that the debate has been resolved in their favor and demand that we shut down all production.

Our lives depend on fossil fuel. Steel plants, chemical plants, rubber plants, pharmaceutical plants, glass plants, paper plants –- those run on energy. There are no Mother Earth nursery designs in stylish organic cotton without gas-belching factories, ships and trucks, and temperature-controlled, well-lighted stores. Windmills can't even produce enough energy to manufacture a windmill.

Liberals have always had a thing about eliminating humans. Stalin wanted to eliminate the kulaks and Ukranians, vegetarian atheist Adolf Hitler wanted to eliminate the Jews, Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger wanted to eliminate poor blacks, DDT opponent Rachel Carson wanted to eliminate Africans (introduction to her book "Silent Spring" written by ... Al Gore!), and population-control guru Paul Ehrlich wants to eliminate all humans.

Five Western States To Cripple Their Economies On The Sacred Cow Of Global Warming

Five Western U.S. states have formed the latest regional pact that bypasses the Bush administration to cut emissions linked to the junk science of global warming through market mechanisms (government regulations, fines and taxes) thereby forcing businesses to flee to other states, according to Oregon's governor. Oregon, California, Washington, New Mexico and Arizona have agreed to develop a regional target for committing economic suicide in six months, according a statement from Oregon Gov. Ted Kulongoski.

During the next 18 months, the governors will devise a market-based program (government regulations, fines and taxes) , such as a load-based cap and trade program (tax and fine businesses that use power out of existence) to reach the target. The five states also have agreed to participate in a multi-state registry to track and manage greenhouse gas emissions in their region. The Western Regional Climate Action Initiative comes on the heels of an agreement in the East called the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative To Kill The Economy that is also based on junk science and is economic suicide.

So the coasts want to commit suicide. Will you miss them ? Really ?

"With the Western states you've got a huge (soon to be diminishing) part of the U.S. economy that are beginning to regulate greenhouse gases (even though the "science" is disputed, we're going to throw our citizens under the bus to be politically correct)," said Jeremiah Baumann, an advocate with the Oregon State Public Interest In Less Jobs Research Group.

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger recently passed the country's toughest greenhouse emissions laws which aim to reduce the state's economy-wide output of the gases by 25 percent by 2020. The California economy is expected to crash by 25 to 50 percent by 2010 under the weight of this legislation and the stupid healthcare initiative.

Monday's agreement "sets the stage for a regional cap and trade program, which will provide a powerful framework for developing a national cap and trade program that will be sure to plummet the economic outlook for the entire region," Schwarzenegger said in a statement on Monday. "This agreement shows the power of states to lead our nation addressing climate change (which has not been proven) and leading the way for high unemployment rates with no discernable impact on the environment."

The other states in the Western pact have also passed greenhouse gas and employment reduction initiatives of their own. The regional pact would allow the states to use market mechanisms (state mandated, not market driven) more efficiently (tax tax tax) to reduce output of the gases, said Baumann.

The United States initiated cap and trade programs on pollutants such as acid rain components in the early 1990s. Still wasn't enough for them.

In such markets for greenhouse gases, companies can offset their emissions by investing in clean projects like solar and wind power, or earn credits that they can sell for cutting their emissions at their factories, or move elsewhere.

In 2005, the European Union formed a cap and trade program to meet its countries' obligations under the Kyoto Protocol, which countries such as China and India are exempt from. Unlike developed countries that ratified Kyoto, the United States does not regulate carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases. This is an outright lie. The EPA regulates all pollutants. President George W. Bush withdrew from the international pact early in his first term, saying it would hurt the economy and unfairly leave rapidly developing countries without emissions limits in its first phase. This is a deliberate misrepresentation of the facts. He didn't withdraw from Kyoto, Congress must ratify all treaties before the President can do anything. The President can not sign any treaty without congress's approval. Bill Clinton didn't sign Kyoto either for the same reason. Funny how that fact is always ignored.

Greenhouse pacts on both coasts could send a message to smokestack and transportation businesses and encourage them to lobby for a national greenhouse plan, rather than face patchwork local regulations, Baumann said. Or they could just move avoiding stupid regulations that have no scientific merit.

Like California's recent laws, the Western pact also seeks to regulate imports of electricity from dirty coal-burning power plants from surrounding states outside of the agreement. Thereby ensuring that their citizens have to pay more for power no matter where it comes from.

The seven states in the Eastern suicide regional pact, which include New York and Massachusetts, aim to cut carbon dioxide emissions at power plants by 10 percent by 2019 and economic growth by more than twice that in half the time.

Who is going to say they are for carbon dioxide emissions ?

Clinton said the Bush administration had decided to invade Iraq "virtually alone and before UN inspections were completed, with no real urgency, no evidence that there were weapons of mass destruction."

Last I checked we were a sovereign nation Bill. We don't need the permission of the UN to look after our own interests. Oh, I think "virtually alone" is a bit of a stretch. But you always did have trouble with facts.

Clinton said there had been a "heroic but so far unsuccessful" effort to put together an constitution that would be universally supported in Iraq.

I guess good old Bill hasn't read the headlines lately.

On Hurricane Katrina, Clinton faulted the authorities' failure to evacuate New Orleans ahead of the storm's strike on August 29.

People with cars were able to heed the evacuation order, but many of those who were poor, disabled or elderly were left behind.

"If we really wanted to do it right, we would have had lots of buses lined up to take them out," Clinton.

Too bad all of those busses were left sitting in New Orleans huh Bill ? I guess that was FEMA's/Bush's fault, huh Bill ?

"When James Lee Witt ran FEMA, because he had been both a local official and a federal official, he was always there early, and we always thought about that," Clinton said, referring to FEMA's head during his 1993-2001 presidency.

On the US budget, Clinton warned that the federal deficit may be coming untenable, driven by foreign wars, the post-hurricane recovery programme and tax cuts that benefitted just the richest one percent of the US population, himself included.

Tax cuts that benefited just the richest one percent of the US population is just an out and out lie. People that never paid taxes in their lives received a refund. I am certainly not anywhere near the top one percent of the population and I certainly benefited from the tax cuts. Himself included. The SOB never held a job in the private sector his life. Playing the class envy card and lying about the tax cuts is pretty much what we can expect from this scumbag.

The Libs always judge by race, not by character. My family (Irish by origin but NOT Irish-American, We're American !) wasn't even in this country when slavery was an institution (In half the country, what does the other half have to feel guilty about ?) I spent most of my life in Indiana and Hyphenated-Americans would always seek to divide us over something this country fought to abolish and did ! This country was one of the first to recognize that judging people by their skin, race, or religion was wrong. It was the race in power at the time that chose to change things. Whites have nothing to apologize for. Slavery was common place among almost all nations at the time. Never forget that most of the Africans sold into slavery were sold by their own people. It doesn't make it right, but it's a fact. Whitey was not solely to blame for it. Conservatives (at the time Republicans) fought for their freedom. The Demoncrats fought against it. Conservatives today believe every man (meaning mankind for you feminazis with a chip on your shoulder) is equal and deserves equal opportunity. DemocRats believe that people of color can't compete, therefore Affirmative Action is required. Isn't that inherently racist ? Look at Dr. Condoleezza Rice and General Colin Powell. They are sneered at and libeled and slandered by the DemoncRats at every turn because they succeeded at the American dream.
