Judge Lenient With Traitor

Lynne Stewart arrived at her sentencing packed for prison. With medication, books and a pair of sweat pants, she was prepared to begin a stay that should have stretched for 30 years. Instead moron U.S. District Judge John G. Koeltl let the traitor who was found guilty of conspiracy to provide material support to terrorist organizations, making false statements and defrauding the government; someone whose actions were an egregious, flagrant abuse of her profession, abuse that amounted to material support to a terrorist group off with only a 28-month sentence. This idiot judge said there was ample evidence she had smuggled messages between her client, Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman, and senior members of an Egyptian-based terrorist organization - messages he said could have had "potentially lethal consequences." But the totally clueless judge noted no one was harmed as a result. How the hell would he know that ? This is why we need to keep both houses of congress, so that more jerks like Judge John G. Koeltl don't get on the bench. Koeltl was nominated by William J. Clinton on April 26, 1994.

First Treason Case In Over 50 Years

A California-born convert to Islam ("The 'Religion' Of Peace"), accused of making a series of al Qaeda propaganda videos, became on Wednesday the first American charged with treason since the World War Two era, U.S. Justice Department officials said.

Fugitive Adam Gadahn, 28, who is believed to be in Pakistan, was accused of treason, which carries a maximum punishment of death, and providing material support to al Qaeda, they said.

According to the charges, Gadahn appeared in five videos broadcast between October 2004 and September 11, 2006, giving al Qaeda "aid and comfort ... with the intent to betray the United States."

It's about time someone was charged with treason. Hell, half the Demoncratic Party should at least be charged with sedition if not outright treason. Ok, more than half.

The FBI added him on Wednesday to its list of the most wanted terrorists and a U.S. State Department program offered up to a $1 million reward for information leading to his arrest.

I'm not greedy, I'll turn the SOB in for half that. ;-)
