The Hilderbeast Shows Her True Color

Sen. Hillary Clinton yesterday backed a rebel band of Senate Dems seeking to filibuster a vote on the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Samuel Alito.

She's been trying to paint herself as a centrist the past year, but in calling for the filibuster, she's shown herself as what she is. A rabid Liberal.

Clinton said, "I oppose his nomination and support efforts to block his confirmation." "I do not think Judge Alito would advance the principles Americans hold most dear," she said

What principles would those be Hillary ?
Would you care to enumerate them for us ?
Could it be the "principle" that someone has the "right" to murder one's child ? Interesting that the Liberals always spout off that the majority of Americans support abortion, but refuse to let Americans vote on it. Why is that do you think ?

Sens. John Kerry (D-Mass.) and Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) have pushed for a filibuster

So she's decided to side with the two most liberal Senators. Good for her. We can use that in the 2008 Presidential Election.

Harriet Miers

Ok.
I've had some time to get over my initial shock.

Ok.
Not really.

Like most conservatives, I feel betrayed.

I guess that says it all for now.

Roberts Nomination Sent To Full Senate

The official tally of 13-5 was anticlimatic, with the committee's 10 majority Republicans lined up solidly behind the conservative judge's nomination to the full Senate weeks in advance.

But the decision by three Democrats to join Republican efforts to make Roberts the nation's 109th Supreme Court justice outlined the division in the minority caucus over whether Democrats can, or should, mount even symbolic opposition to Roberts to send President Bush a message on his next Supreme Court nomination.

Five Democrats - Sens. Dianne Feinstein of California, Joseph Biden of Delaware, Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts, Charles Schumer of New York and Dick
Durbin of Illinois - opposed Roberts in the final vote, and many of the arguments merged with senators' worries about the upcoming replacement for the retiring Sandra Day O'Connor.

NARAL - National Association of Repugnant Asinine Liars

This is disgusting. A national add by NARAL trying to get away with slander and libel.

Announcer: "Seven years ago a bomb destroyed a woman's health clinic In Birmingham, Alabama."
Lyons: ""The bomb ripped my clinic. I almost lost my life. I will never be the same."
Announcer: ""Supreme Court nominee John Roberts filed court briefs supporting violent fringe groups and a convicted
clinic bomber."
Lyons: "I am determined to stop this violence, so I'm speaking out."

The brief Roberts filed as a "Friend Of The Court" had nothing to do with supporting violence.
The case that the brief was filed against had nothing to do with bombing or violence.
The Birmingham clinic was bombed seven years after Roberts signed the legal briefing the ad sites !
This is typical of Liberals. If you can't win an argument; Tell a bold faced lie and hope you scare enough people that are to stupid and/or lazy to look up the facts themselves.

Hat Tip Power Line.

CWA Says NARAL's Desperate Logic Suggests NOW Violence

NARAL ad rankles Roberts supporters

NARAL Falsely Accuses Supreme Court Nominee Roberts

In words and images, the ad conveys the idea that Roberts took a legal position excusing bombing of abortion clinics, which is false. To the contrary, during the Reagan administration when he was Associate Counsel to the President, Roberts drafted a memo saying abortion-clinic bombers "should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law." In the 1986 memo, Roberts called abortion bombers "criminals" and "misguided individuals," indicating that they would get no special treatment regarding requests for presidential pardons. Reagan in fact gave no pardons to abortion-clinic bombers.
The 1986 draft is on file at the Reagan library. The White House furnished a copy to FactCheck.org.

CABLE CONTROVERSY: CNN AGREES TO AIR BLOODY ABORTION AD ON JUDGE ROBERTS

Tell me CNN is fair an balanced. No wonder Fox News is kicking their arse.

Here's the text of an e-mail I sent to the "News" channel CNN:

I am disgusted that your network would run an add by NARAL that is so patently full of slander and libel. It is little wonder that Fox News continues to trounce your network in ratings. You should all be ashamed and embarrassed.
I will never watch any of your networks again and will encourage everyone I meet to stay away from you and your advertisers.

Feel free to use it and embellish.

BTW, just to show you how sleazy and deceptive NARAL is, they no longer even tell people what NARAL (the acronym) stands for, even on their own web site.

I'll tell you:
National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League.

This organization stands for abortion.
Any abortion.
For any reason.
By any means.

They have some nerve accusing Judge Roberts of advocating violence when they themselves have advocated violence against defenseless human beings for years.
