I thought to myself “Next week?”, in the world of sales, next week is an eternity where deals evaporate faster than a free ice cream cone in summer. Now, I could have played it safe, accepted the "maybe later," and hang up but something in me whispered, "Go for it, Fabian” So, with a deep breath, I told him about the hungry wolves of the sales team who push our products out and they are chances the property will have been sold out by the time he is ready to pay next week. And guess what? It worked. He requested for the company’s account, right there, my first acre-sized sale was sealed. Quick lesson, don’t just learn how to sell, sell with urgency.
