Stupid Global Warming Repairs Update

Well, I've gotten through fixing posts up to Sunday, September 18, 2005. My links were broken from that ice storm caused by stupid global warming that had my power out for a week. It's getting there. On the plus side the new blogger seems to load the site much faster. I love the labels feature, makes cross-referencing a snap and people can browse topics that they're interested in. Sweet. I hope to have the site repaired by next week if stupid global warming doesn't dump more ice on me. CYA L8R !

Blogspot Upgrade

I finally bit the bullet and upgraded to the new blogspot software. It took me a while to figure out how to get the site looking somewhat like it used to. The good news is comments are working again. The bad news is all of the comments that were via halo scan are lost. I'm still working on updating the past posts to the new IP address that was caused by the ice storm that was caused by stupid global warming. I'm also adding labels to the posts. It should make the site easier to navigate. CYA !

BlogSpot Problems

BlogSpot was down most of Friday and Saturday.
They are planning to be down again tonight from 7–8PM PST.
After the fiasco this weekend I do not anticipate them being back up by 8PM PST.

Haloscan Went Nuts

I lost some comments because Haloscan is a POS.

OMG. No Newsgroups !?!

When I try to connect to any Newsgroups, I get the following error !

"502 no permission for 66.148.249.xxx (blocked by realm NuVoxCommunications)"

Holy crap !

How am I supposed to download the latest episode of NCIS ?!?!

No new cartoons !

No new comicbooks !

No new TV shows !

No new porn !

001 java.io.IOException: EOF while reading from control connection

I've been trying to post a new entry for an hour now.
All I get is this error.
I try looking in BlogSpot's knowledgebase, but when I hit search... it just sits there.
I try contacting them... it just sits there.
I wonder if my Blog is even available, so I open a new browser and type in my URL... it just sits there.

This sucks.

Finally at 10:33 BlogSpot informed us that there was a problem (duh) and that a tech was on the way.

And now (10:37) We're back up.
I guess that's not a bad turn around.
It's just been frustrating these past two days what with Nuvox treating our connection like a yo-yo and now this.

Grrrrr !
