Trick or treat !

Halloween was one of my favorite holidays as a kid.
The last couple of decades, trick or treaters have been few and far between.
It's sad. People are so paranoid these days. I have tons of candy and no kids.
All because people believe in a stupid urban legend. Don't ruin Halloween for your kids, or me. The razor blades in apples and poisoned candy ? Not one case has ever been documented.

Barbie Zombies

Barbie Zombies.

When I saw this project among all the cool & thrifty Halloween party ideas on the Savers website, I knew it would be the perfect Halloween decoration for the empty flower box on our front porch. I also knew it would be a project the girls would find really fun (or totally creep them out, making them have Barbie nightmares for months – either way it’s a win/win in my book).

I thought in the spirit of Halloween, that it would be nice for those of us old enough to remember Casper, to pass along the theme song to our youths.
