Stocks tumble, lose 10 percent in 2-day rout

Wall Street plunged for a second day, triggered by computer gear maker Cisco Systems warning of slumping demand and retailers reporting weak sales for October. Concerns about widespread economic weakness sent the major stock indexes down more than 4 percent Thursday, including the Dow Jones industrial average, which tumbled more than 440 points.

Major indexes have lost about 10 percent since Barack Obama was elected president -- a vote preceded by a steep rally -- and the losses represent the Dow's worst two-day percentage decline since the October 1987 crash.

Paper losses during that time in U.S. stocks came to $1.2 trillion, according to the Dow Jones Wilshire 5000 Composite Index, which represents nearly all stocks traded in America.

Just wait until he takes office and has a chance to put his insane economic policies into action. How long to you think it will be before we see the return of the Misery Index ?

I'm Back

I finally received all of my equipment here in Hawaii and am starting the process of updating the Blog for my new address. It should take a couple weeks but not like I have anything else to do.

The Move Is On

The movers came and got my things today. I'm waiting on the guys to take my car. They called around noon and said they were just past the Pennsylvania/Ohio line. I don't expect to see them until tomorrow. At any rate, my media server is in route so there won't be any pictures here until it arrives in Hawaii and I set it back up. Me and the cats leave Monday morning. If I don't post before then, Aloha !

Moving

I will shut down my media server tomorrow.
I have to ship it to Hawaii.
It will be a month or so before my server gets to Hawaii and all media (pictures, movies, songs) are back up and running.

Move To Hawaii

I will be moving to Hawaii this month.
Service for my media server will be shut off on 09/24/2008 and I will need to rebuild the links once I'm there. It should take a month before my computer equipment arrives in Hawaii, so none of my media (pictures, movies and music) will work until then. Thanks for your patronage and I look forward to serving you again ASAP.

Leaving For Hawaii

I'm leaving for Hawaii in the morning. While I'm gone the media server is on it's own for six days. Hopefully all will be well while I'm away. If not, consider it a preview for my move in October when none of my images, movies or music will be available until I resettle and redirect everything to be hosted from Hawaii. Aloha !

Obama Takes A Page (or two) From Stalin And Hitler

The high and mighty Greek God Obama doesn't want anyone talking about his close relationship with the terrorist Bill Ayres. So much so that they threaten legal action against anyone bringing this ugly truth to light. He's even taking to having reporters arrested for trespassing on a public sidewalk. This is the kind of hope and change he wants to bring to America. This is what America can expect to be a daily occurrence if he becomes President.

Well I'm bringing it up Barack Hussein Obama. Millions of other Americans will too.
You have a lot of questions to answer about your relationship with unrepentant Bill Ayers. Threats and intimidations won't silence us. You have a lot to answer for Mr. Obama. Guilt by association ? Well, considering the job you're applying for... hell yes.

You Libs always talk big on free speech, until someone says something you don't agree with. Then you're always quick for harassment or even legal action.

Oh, and congratulations on having a ticket that's even more liberal than the last two ! I didn't think that was possible ! And having two Senators on the ticket ! Neither with any executive experience, let alone experience at all in the case of Obama ! And Biden ? Are you kidding me ? He's been on the wrong side of history his entire career ! The depth of sound bites and video feeds from this windbag will be a goldmine for McCain.
