Annie Katz, 52, of New York, at the rear of a group of protesters, said the experience was worth it despite the bad view. Katz said she was upset, too, by the 2000 election, but this year, "I'm angrier this time, since I'm angry about the war."
You know, someone really ought to tell these idiots that the war's been over for a while now. Did anyone say that WWII wasn't over until we left Germany or Japan ? If that was the case, then you could argue that we're still fighting WWII.
U.S. soldiers in dress uniforms and blue coats were greeted with chants of "no more wars."
And they get mad when they're called unpatriotic and don't support our troops.
Before the swearing-in, about 500 people rallied in a park several miles from the Capitol.
500 people. That's all they could muster. Pathetic.
