With respect, who made you the editor of Newsweek? Do you think it's appropriate for you, at that podium, speaking with the authority of the President of the United States, to tell an American magazine what they should print?Uh... when it's a lie and it damages our country's interests immeasurably... F'ing A Right !
You're pressuring them.He should.
Q Are you asking them to write a story about how great the American military is; is that what you're saying here?
MR. McCLELLAN: Elisabeth, let me finish my sentence. Our military --
Q You've already said what you're -- I know what -- how it ends.
Oh ! That's good objective reporting. You don't care what he has to say. You can't accept anything other than what your arrogant Moonbat mind has already concluded. Due to your powers of telepathy you knew what he was going to say. Great "Journalist". The Whitehouse and the entire country; hell the entire world has a right to demand a full explanation for how, based on one source, Newsweak could print a story that was obviously aimed at not only damaging the current Administration, but our military and our Country. And this Elisabeth had the audacity to defend Newsweak ? What they did was indefeasible. Especially looking at their history of suppressing stories that were true.
The audacity and arrogance of the MSM is unbelievable. Newsweak releases an unconfirmed story that seriously damages this country; a story that they have no proof of and this "Reporter" attacks the Bush Administration for demanding the truth ? For demanding accountability ? What ? The press can publish anything they want as fact ? Last time I read the definition of libel, they can't. They should be held accountable and the Whitehouse should demand that they be held accountable. Is this where the MSM is today ? Where even when a story is published that is a fabrication they side with the liars ? They blame everyone but the liars ? I thought they claimed their profession was in uncovering the truth, not defending those that report lies. And they wonder why their ratings continue to plummet.
Read the entire transcript. It's amazing how petty, self-serving and self-centered these "journalists" are. They look at the Bush Administration as the "Bad Guy" here. It's mind boggling.
