We are the fortunate 1% in that regard. That means ~15 million people renew their passports every year, which generates $2 billion in revenue for the government. That is a drop in the bucket for the federal budget and could also help fund the wall, yet Congress argues it’s too expensive while the Supreme Court rules that the Feds can take down Texas’ barriers to try to stop the invasion.
