Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like: Grabbing data and pulling into single repository, stage, model, automate it. Ending up with a database that is easy to use on user side for analytics with Power BI and Tableau. Not a lot of business knowledge. Not a complex data set. Handle integration into their database from target sources Advance work on Database and Data Warehouse SQL Server 2017+, no cloud services required, primarily on-prem work Ability to make recommendations on solutions and improve the environment Client Job Description: Position will report to the Director Global Sourcing Solutions. As part of the Sourcing Technology team, the SQL Developer will lead and execute data projects using Microsoft SQL Server tools such as SSIS, Visual Studio, and SQL Server Management Studio. The developer will also leverage other tools such as Python and PowerBI to provide full scale data solutions. The role will be a contract position for 3 to 6 months with the possibility for extension as needed. This position is responsible for working with key Sourcing stakeholders across our 9 Brands to provide data and reporting support for specific sourcing activities. Positive relationship building with the ability to be influential without direct authority will be required. The position will be responsible for the following areas: Design and maintain Data and reporting Solutions. SQL Development (Microsoft/Oracle) Data imports, extracts, other data management activities Design and maintain integrations and data connectivity. Document Business Requirements for data solutions Provide technical design and maintenance documentation upon project completion **ALL successful candidates for this position are required to work directly for PRIMUS.
