Today’s featured tech tip…
How to change the default zoom level in Firefox
The “Quick Tips” in the previous two issues of this newsletter explained how to change the default zoom level in the Chrome and Safari web browsers.
Today we’ll finish up this series of “browser zoom” tips by explaining how to change the default zoom level for all websites in Firefox.
Luckily, this is one of the easier ones to change. Just follow the steps below:
1 – Click the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner of the Firefox window, then select Settings from the drop-down menu.
2 – Scroll down to the “Language and Appearance” section and click inside the drop-down box in the “Default zoom” field, then select a new zoom level.
3 – (Optional, but recommended) – You might want to experiment with several different zoom levels to find out which one works best for you.
That’s all there is to it. From now on every website you visit will be displayed using the new default zoom level you just selected.
