guys, I need your help 🥺
please help me in stopping this scammer 🚫
FEB 4
Hey Eternals, crossing my fingers that your Sunday's shining a bit brighter than mine right now.. 🥺
This week's been tough, really tough...
Thought getting over this bug was my biggest worry, but then something else came out of left field and hit me way harder. It's more than just the sniffles now, this whole new mess has been gnawing at me, messing with my work and my head. I've been trying everything to fix this, but I'm still hitting a wall. So, I'm turning to you, my trusted Eternals, because I know you can offer some insight and help.
Now, let me dive into what's been going on. Some time ago, this betting company came to me, waving a six-figure paycheck, hoping I'd hype up their site. But that's just not me. I couldn't possibly expose you to something that goes against my values, especially when it involves the risk of losing money through pure gambling. My reputation and your trust mean everything. So I turned this offer down right away, and I had my lawyer ensure they never reach out to me again.
But…
Lately, you might have noticed something odd with my Instagram – a drop in engagement and views and some of my videos going down.
It's not a simple glitch or a change in the algorithm. At the heart of all this trouble is a fake account that's not just copying me, it's actually doing some real damage. This account's game isn't innocent mimicry, it's got a mean streak, tricking over 161,000 people with a fake me. Even nastier, it's tangled up in scams and keeps coming at my real account with a bunch of bogus complaints and reports.
The situation escalated when I discovered this fake account using my content with altered AI face to advertise the very betting site I'd turned down, without my consent. It's clear now that the betting company I rejected is behind this, exploiting my identity to push their agenda.
I've been on Instagram's case non-stop for the past 7 days, attempting to get them to take action against this account. I've presented them with evidence through chat support, emails, and even lengthy phone calls, providing direct comparisons between my authentic content and the stolen content. However, the response has been disheartening. Instagram continues to assert that this fake account isn't violating their guidelines, leaving me in a state of frustration..
This is where I need your support. Together, we can shed light on this injustice and fight to have this imposter account removed. Your voice matters, and with your help, we can stand up against this fraudulent betting site.
Please take a moment from your Sunday and report this fake Instagram account linked to the betting company that's turning my life into a nightmare..
Here’s how you can report it step by step:
1) Head over to this fake Instagram account with the username @selenymira
2) Tap the three dots in the upper-right corner
3) Tap report
4) Tap something about this account
5) Tap they are pretending to be someone else
6) Tap someone I follow
Final step: Type my name, evasavagiou (with a blue badge), and select the "Report" option.
Thank you for always being by my side….
For now, I'll try to find some peace, maybe with a good book, but I'll keep fighting this fight. 💪🏼💪🏼
With all my love and gratitude,
Eva 🌠
PS: If you do report, please let me know in the comments. I would really like to know how many of you took the time to do it. It would mean the world to me, guys!! 🤍
