For years, no one really worried that much about income inequality. What mattered really depended on who you talked to, but as long as the poor had their basic needs met and the opportunity to improve their lot in life, most folks weren’t that worked up. But income inequality became a huge issue over the last few years. You hear about it all the time, why it’s a terrible thing and why we need to address it.
