This Day In History
- 1690- The first paper money in America was issued by the Massachusetts colony. The currency was used to pay soldiers who were fighting in the war against Quebec. Of course then, the paper was worth more than paper.

- 1966 -The Soviet Union's Lunik 9 becomes the first spacecraft to successfully achieve a controlled "soft-landing" on the moon. Of cource they never could put a man (oh, sorry, a human) on the moon... Why haven't we gone back ?
- 1984 - Challenger 4 was launched as the tenth space shuttle mission.
- 1994 - A 19-year-old trade embargo against Vietnam is lifted by President Clinton. Nuff said.

Nope, .I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people. They must conduct random searches of80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal ofHonor winning and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone because of profiling.
Let's send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Aldredsand other dunder-headed attorneys along with Federal Justices that wantto thwart common sense, feel doubly ashamed of themselves - if they haveany such sense. As the writer of the award winning story "Forrest Gump" so aptly putit, "Stupid is as stupid does."Come on people wake up!!! our troops need your support.

The Address
I couldn't watch the Address last night so I went to WhitHouse.Gov and watched it tonight.
I think it was his finest speech to date.
It was uplifting.
It was inspiring.
President Bush has a true vision of what must be done, what should be done.
The Demoncracts can only focus on the negatives and have no alternative plans.
Here's hoping Dean becomes their new Chairman and ensures that the fifty years of their misleading this country finally ends.
