Oil Shock: When it comes to energy policy, Democrats always talk a good game. But look at their actual record while in control of Congress in the last year and a half. It's been nothing short of disastrous.

Wasn't it two years ago that then-Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi vowed, if her party took over Congress, to cut energy prices — especially gasoline?

"Democrats have a common-sense plan to help bring down skyrocketing gas prices by cracking down on price-gouging; rolling back the billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies, tax breaks and royalty relief given to big oil and gas companies; and increasing production of alternative fuels," Pelosi wrote back in April 2006, as part of her efforts to convince Americans to elect Democrats.

How's that working for you? As the chart below shows, the cost of energy — measured by the price of West Texas Intermediate crude — is up more than 70%.

Under Pelosi's "common-sense plan," Congress has achieved nothing. Actually, less than nothing, considering that what little has been done has hurt, rather than helped the U.S. to become more self-sufficient. This year alone, we'll spend $431 billion to buy 3.7 billion barrels of imported oil to run our economy. And in so doing, we are enriching some of the world's most unsavory regimes.

Ironically, we have plenty of oil — at least 10 billion barrels in Alaska's National Wildlife Reserve, 30 billion or so offshore and a whopping 1.2 trillion in Rocky Mountain oil-shale. But Democrats' extreme green ideology keeps us from drilling for it.

Clean coal technologies likewise have been put out of bounds. So is the most logical answer to our energy problem — nuclear power plants that can be run safely with spent rods reprocessed. France already does this to meet 80% of its energy needs.

Democrats have focused instead on an insane global warming plan that would cost $1.2 trillion. Subsidies and other breaks for biofuels have helped send food prices soaring.

It would be nice to say they've learned their lesson, but they haven't. Instead, they've gone on a shrill campaign to vilify American oil companies, holding kangaroo hearings in Congress to embarrass CEOs who work hard to bring us more energy.

Just Wednesday, Pelosi sent a letter to President Bush, urging him to look into OPEC price-fixing, to punish "price-gougers" and to end tax breaks for oil companies and use the money to invest in questionable alternative energy schemes.

Excuse us, but that's pretty much the plan congressional Democrats have pursued for a year and a half with zero success. As in the 1970s, this is a human-made crisis — one that has solutions. But it's the Democrats, along with a few equally misguided Republicans, who steadfastly refuse to implement them.

For this reason if for no other, none of them deserves re-election.

Obama Pledges Eliminating Nuclear Weapons

If elected president Sen. Barack Obama said he would round up all of the loose nuclear materials and rid the world of atomic weapons in his first term.

The likely Democratic nominee warned Wednesday of the dangers of "fighting the last war," and said during a speech in West Lafayette, Ind. he would focus on emerging nuclear, biological and cyber threats.

"As long as nuclear weapons exist, we'll retain a strong deterrent. But we will make the goal of eliminating all nuclear weapons a central element in our nuclear policy," he said.

I could not believe this wasn't a hoax.
It's not.
He's really that naive or stupid or he believes voters are naive or stupid or any combination thereof.
This man is incredibly dangerous.

Bush Says Drill, Drill, Drill — And Oil Drops $9 !

In a dramatic move yesterday President Bush removed the executive-branch moratorium on offshore drilling.

A moratorium that his dumbass Dad issued.

Today, at a news conference, Bush repeated his new position, and slammed the Democratic Congress for not removing the congressional moratorium on the Outer Continental Shelf and elsewhere. Crude-oil futures for August delivery plunged $9.26, or 6.3 percent, almost immediately as Bush was speaking, bringing the barrel price down to $136.

Now isn’t this interesting?

Democrats keep saying that it will take 10 years or longer to produce oil from the offshore areas. And they say that oil prices won’t decline for at least that long. And they, along with Obama and McCain, bash so-called oil speculators. And today we had a real-world example as to why they are wrong. All of them. Reid, Pelosi, Obama, McCain — all of them.

Traders took a look at a feisty and aggressive George Bush and started selling the market well before a single new drop of oil has been lifted. What does this tell us? Well, if Congress moves to seal the deal, oil prices will probably keep on falling. That’s the way traders work. They discount the future. Psychology and expectations can turn on a dime.

The congressional ban on offshore drilling expires September 30, so that becomes a key date. A new report from Wall Street research house Sanford C. Bernstein says that California actually could start producing new oil within one year if the moratorium were lifted. The California oil is under shallow water and already has been explored. Drilling platforms have been in place since before the moratorium. They’re talking about 10 billion barrels worth off the coast of California.

There’s also a “gang of 10” in the Senate, five Republicans and five Democrats, that is trying to work a compromise deal on lifting the moratorium. So it’s possible a lot of action on this front could occur much sooner than people seem to think.

So I repeat: Drill, drill, drill. Deregulate, decontrol, and unleash the American energy industry. Those hated traders will then keep selling oil as the laws of supply and demand and free markets keep working.

Bravo for Bush. Bravo for the traders.

Now if we can open up ANWR and build some new refineries we'll be starting down the right path.

Also remember how the Demoncrats are fighting to make you pay more not just for gas, but everything, because everything depends on oil.

Global Warming, Is There Anything It Doesn't Cause ?

Global Warming May Increase Kidney Stones

More Americans are likely to suffer from kidney stones in the coming years as a result of global warming, according to researchers at the University of Texas, an establishment that was once a respected institution.
Kidney stones, which are formed from dissolved minerals in the urine and can be extremely painful, are often caused by caused by dehydration, either by not drinking enough liquid or losing too much due to high heat conditions. Because there is no evidence that global temperatures have actually increased significantly in the last century, only:
1) idiots would make a connection where none exists.
2) greedy bastards see others making fortunes off of the Global Warming Scam and seek someway to connect their "research" to Global Warming.

If global warming trends continue as projected by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (note they're now trying to call it "Climate Change" instead of "Global Warming" because there's no proof of any warming, then again, there's no proof of the climate changing) in 2007, the United States can expect as much as a 30 percent growth in kidney stone disease in some of its driest areas, said the findings published in Monday's Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

The increased incidence of disease would represent between 1.6 million and 2.2 million cases by 2050, costing the US economy as much as one billion dollars in treatment costs and bogus research into Global Warming and all the crap it supposedly causes.

"This study is one of the first examples of global warming causing a direct medical consequence for humans," said Margaret Pearle, professor of urology at University of Texas Southwestern and senior author of the paper who hopes to cash in on the Global Warming Hoax. She conveniently does not bring up the very real problem of food shortages (as we turn efficient food into inefficient fuel) that are currently causing real medical consequence for humans caused by stupid government policies designed to fight the hoax of Global Warming.

"When people relocate from areas of moderate temperature to areas with warmer climates, a rapid increase in stone risk has been observed. This has been shown in military deployments to the Middle East for instance." Wow, by using pretzel logic she gets to tie Global Warming to the military deployments to Middle East ! What a two-fer !

The lead author of the research, Tom Brikowski, compared kidney stone rates with UN forecasts of temperature increases and created two mathematical models to predict the impact on future populations. Of course the math used to predict Global Warming is flawed and convoluted, but the math used to predict how much funding he can get by tying his research to the Global Warming Hoax is pretty easy.

One formula showed an increase in the southern half of the country, including the already existing "kidney stone belt" of the southeastern states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

The other showed that the increase would be concentrated in the upper Midwest. So just like Global Warming predictions, if he sees any increase in either location he can say, "See ? I was right !" and get even more funding.

"Similar climate-related changes in the prevalence of kidney-stone disease can be expected in other stone belts worldwide," the study said.

I'm sure Global Warming also causes erectile dysfunction, psoriasis, halitosis, bipolar disorder and cognitive degeneration. Oh wait, those are all symptoms of being a liberal (or someone that actually believes in Global Warming).

Rollover "Accident" Tied To Islamic Terrorist Squirrel

Brockton, Ma - An Islamic Terrorist Squirrel may have been a factor in a rollover "accident" Friday morning, officials said. A woman was sent to Brockton Hospital with minor injuries after her car flipped on its side in an "accident" at North Quincy and East Ashland streets, where an earlier power outage disrupted traffic signals at the four-way intersection, said Brockton Fire Capt. Paul Cosgrove. Cosgrove said the power outage was believed to have stemmed from an Islamic Terrorist Squirrel electrocuting himself on the power lines. The woman’s car collided with another car in the intersection at 10:02 a.m., but the other driver did not go to the hospital, Cosgrove said. The car belonging to the injured woman — whose name and age were not released due to fears that peaceful Muslims would kill her for not wearing a Burka — rolled onto the driver’s side, he said. The Islamic Terrorist Squirrel was last heard screaming "Allah Akbar !" and is now considered a martyr.

The Islamic Terrorist Squirrel was introduced to this country from the Middle East due to liberal immigration policies, and for many people it is the only squirrel they have ever seen. However, the spread of what has been listed on the UN list of the hundred most invasive "religions" (It's actually at the number one slot) has spelled disaster for the native Non-Muslim, as the Muslims carry pox that is fatal to the Non-Muslim squirrel. This pox is known as jihad.

The Non-Muslim squirrel survives in small pockets in the north-east and north-west of England, the Isle of Wight and Anglesey. In the past, controls on the numbers of Islamic Terrorist Squirrels have failed due to liberals screaming about racism, xenophobia, bigotry and racial profiling. Twisting the problem into somehow being the fault of Non-Muslim Squirrels when the Islamic Terrorist Squirrels have stated openly and repeatedly that their goal is the elimination of all Non-Muslim Squirrels. The Non-Muslim Squirrel Protection Partnership (NMSPP), funded by the government, was set up as a last-ditch attempt to save the Non-Muslim squirrels in the north-east. A £148,000 grant from Defra allowed us to set our first wire-tappings and traps in December 2006 and since then we have trapped or shot over 17,800 Islamic Terrorist Squirrels.

One of the problems NMSPP had was disposing of so many Muslim bodies. However, the partnership with Ridley's Fish and Game has led to a whole new culinary experience with Muslims becoming an extremely popular delicacy – the ultimate organic free-range game. Now that liberal polices are turning our efficient food into inefficient fuel (called Biofuel by liberals, ethanol by scientists and insane by sane people), causing food prices to rise, the previously unthinkable act of eating a dirty smelly Muslim starts to look attractive. "Sure it takes a lot of cleaning and hard work to make a Muslim palatable, not to mention eatable, but if you soak a Muslim in enough bacon grease it doesn't taste half bad. The libs get to burn our corn, we can't afford corn anymore as food. The cows and pigs can't eat cheap corn anymore so beef and pork is out. Muslims are cheap meat ! Let's eat !"

When asked what a Muslim Squirrel tastes like, Mike Huckabee said, "It tastes like squirrel, but bitter". He continued with, "We would fry Muslims in bacon grease in the popcorn poppers in the dorm room, because that was the only thing they would let us use in the dorms. These Muslim Concentration Camps would feed Muslims nothing but pork so the traditional frying in bacon grease would be unneeded. There are even plans for a Muslim Concentrate Energy Drink (using fresh squeezed Muslims) for when you want to ingest dead Muslims on the go. PepsiCo has already started test marketing in Peoria under the trade name Muslim Dew.

There has been massive support from the people of the north-east, with over 300 people helping with the trapping effort, and over 400 people spotting Muslims for our trappers. The use of so many active volunteers and the ceaseless work of our team, led by Paul Parker (Peter's second cousin) who developed the Parker trap (A device that incorporates spider webs of all things), which can catch a Muslim almost instantly, makes the project extremely cost-effective. Durham, Cumbria, and North Yorkshire are our next targets, with the source of Islamic Terrorist Squirrels, Mecca being the final phase of the project. This allows the Non-Muslim squirrel to spread back into areas, where up until a few years ago Islam was the only religion seen.

The NMSPP recently said that a Muslim cull was unethical. Is it ethical to watch the extinction of a native religion when a cheap and effective means of saving that religion exists ? The northern white rhino in Africa recently became extinct in the wild because of persecution by Islamic Terrorist Rhinos (Not to be confused with RINOs like John McCain).

Of course no one thought it racist that the white rhino was persecuted and drove to extinction because it was white. How can we sit back and allow the same to happen to a religion that 100 years ago was seen throughout the country and even considered a pest by liberals ? The Non-Muslim squirrel is a magical animal whose future rests on the work of volunteers. Our funding is coming to an end and without further support our work will be forced to stop. Then the Islamic Terrorist Squirrels will win. Most Anti-Terrorist programmes almost always show the Non-Muslim squirrel. Without our work removing Muslims, how long before programmes are made about the death of the last Non-Muslim squirrel in mainland England?

West Virginia

West Virginia has been in the news a bit the last few days.
I've always found West Virginia ironic, hypocritical and well, stupid.
West Virginia was a handful of counties that broke away from Virginia during the American Civil War and was admitted to the Union as a separate state on June 20, 1863. So the war that was primarily fought over the rights of states to secede from the country allowed counties to secede from the state. Yes, this may come as a shock to people only schooled in public schools, slavery was not the primary issue of the civil war.

They couldn't even keep a McDonald's in business. Literally. It closed two months before my first trip.

It literally had duct tape holding the seams of the carpet together.
The decor had not been updated since the sixties if not before. That includes the furniture.
I have never seen such a waste of space and humanity as what I saw of West Virginia.

What I thought interesting was that neither the e-mail nor the video mention that this bill (S.1348) was known as the McCain-Kennedy bill. Shows how far off McCain is from most Republicans and pretty much all Conservatives on Illegal Immigration. It also shows how ignorant the electorate are about important issues and where the canidates stand.

By the way, all three candidates voted for this "piece of shit", as John Boehner so eloquently put it. So all three of these asshats don't give a damn about the Mexican Invasion. So what are you going to do come November ?

I Heard That Obama Is A Muslim

W Virginia keeps distance from Obama

Like most people in Mingo County, West Virginia, Leonard Simpson is a lifelong Democrat. But given a choice between Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. and John Sidney McCain III in November, the 67-year-old retired coalminer would vote Republican.

“I heard that Obama is a Muslim and his wife’s an atheist,” said Mr Simpson, drawing on a cigarette outside the fire station in Williamson, a coalmining town of 3,400 people surrounded by lush wooded hillsides.

At first I laughed at this guy, but then I thought about it. After all, Barack sat in that "church" for twenty years without hearing anything, maybe he thought it was a mosque the whole time.

Water Bill

Although they could see nothing wrong, they had everything checked for leaks or problems: first the water meter, then outdoor pipes, indoor pipes, underground pipes, faucets, toilets, washer, ice maker, etc. all to no avail.

One day Jim was sick and stayed home in bed, but kept hearing water running downstairs. He finally tore himself from his sick bed to investigate, and stumbled onto the cause of such high water bills.

Apparently this was happening all day long when they were not at home.

Knowing that few would believe him, he taped a segment of the 'problem' for posterity.

War Protesters Frustrated By Apathy

Three protesters, a half-dozen signs and a missing petition.

Last month, nine protesters gathered in front of the Regional Enterprise Tower, Downtown, where U.S. Sens. Arlen Specter and Bob Casey have offices.

"Please think about this. It's important," Lynne Flavin, 60, of Lawrenceville, told passersby. She held a blood red sign that said, "Support the Troops. End the War."

Few people gave more than a glance.

I'd comment on their being frustrated by apathy, (as well as their idiocy), but I really don't care.


OK. I'll comment. Stupid hippies. Not that I care about stupid hippies.

Republicans Reject McCain

So Drudge reported:

"26% OF REPUBLICAN VOTERS AGAINST MCCAIN IN NORTH CAROLINA..."

and:

22% GO AGAINST MCCAIN IN INDIANA.

Being a former Hoosier, add my vote to the list (I voted against him last fall).
There is no way in hell I will ever vote for McCain.
He's spit on us conservatives his entire career.

It should come as no surprise that Republicans reject McCain, he's made his living out of rejecting us.

Obama Speaking About Wright

So I'm going to assume you have seen the videos of Obama Speaking About Wright.

Obama says he is outraged.
Obama says he is angry.
Obama says he is appalled.

Obama says NOW that what Wright has said for the twenty, TWENTY YEARS that Obama has known him is finally unacceptable.

Let me ask you.

Does he look like he's outraged as he says this ?
Does he look like he's angry as he says this ?
Does he look like he's appalled as he says this ?

Looks to me like he was just saying the words.

How can you sit in the pew for twenty years and not hear any of what Wright said ?

"And what I think particularly angered me was his suggestion somehow that my previous denunciation of his remarks were somehow political posturing."

So the thing that "particularly angered" Obama was not the content of Wright's remarks, but that Wright exposed Obama as having those same views.

Why else would he sit there week after week listening to this dolt (harsher words do come to mind) for twenty years ? He had to agree with Wright at some level ! Even Oprah had the good taste to get out of there !

It looks to me like he's saying what he needs to say, now that the views he shares with Wright are exposed.

Add his close association with the known terrorist Bill Ayers...

This is the presumed Democrat Presidential Nominee ?
